This describes what Atlas of Skills ("we," "us") collects when you use this site, and why. We don't have user accounts, and we don't collect payment information — we don't process payments or bookings ourselves at all.
What we collect
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog, which automatically collect standard usage data — pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the site (clicks, filters used, time on page). This is used in aggregate and isn't tied to your name or identity.
If you email us. We receive whatever you send — typically your email address and message — and use it only to reply to you.
Cookies
Google Analytics and PostHog set cookies and/or use browser storage to tell repeat visits apart and measure usage. We don't run any advertising or retargeting pixels, and this data isn't used to build an ad profile of you. You can block these cookies in your browser without losing the ability to use the site.
How we use it
To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them, and to respond to messages sent to us. We do not sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone beyond the analytics processors named above, who handle it under their own privacy terms.
Third-party services
Every entry on this site links out to a third-party school or operator. Once you leave atlasofskills.com, their own privacy practices apply — this policy covers only what happens on this site.
Your choices
You can block analytics cookies in your browser or with an extension at any time. If you'd like us to delete an email exchange we're holding, or have any other privacy request, contact us and we'll act on it.
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Check back occasionally if you want to stay current.
